God Cares

1 peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

As we go through the daily grind, how much care do we get in our daily lives? Everyone is so busy working,  taking care of some business, running around making sure everything is setup for the next day and the daily grind can get to us. Your husbands or wife could accidentally hurt your feelings because they have had a busy day, your children could be cranky because they didn't get any sleep the night before or something hasn't gone there way. The Pastor could be to busy to talk to you so it might feel like he doesn't care about your needs. Even friends or family! Not calling in forever or simply forgetting to get in touch with you. There are so many ways that we can get caught up in life and forget that, these people really do care about us.

But there is one who cares for you all the time,  there is one who sees your ever need and is waiting to fulfill it, he's the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end. And we have to do is call on his name for riches evermore ... comfort, peace and understanding .... he is our father son and Holy Ghost our Lord, God

During Jesus Christs ministry he was able to preach many life altering sermons, ones that are still affecting lives to this vary day. The sermon on the mount is one such sermon in which I will take my scripture.

So how much does he care?

Enough to persuasive his word so that we a couple thousand of years later we can open up and get encouraged, or hear a preacher preach to us the word of God.

Psalm 12:6-7  "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever."

In Luke and in Matthew Jesus has some great parables about how much God loves and cares for us. One such verse is

Matt 10:29-31 (KJV)
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Its a familiar  passage of scripture but it never lies, I did some research and a farthing is 1/4 of a penny in the us today, and just think you were able to get 2 sparrows that's how worthless people saw them as.

But God thinks of them greatly! Not a single one will fall without him knowing. He even thinks your important enough to know all the hairs on your head. And the average person has close to 100,000 hairs on your head and if you multiply that by the number of people on earth close to 6.7 billion you would get 670 trillion hairs. And God knows everything about all of them.

 Luke 11:13 (KJV)
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Just think, if the unsaved, and then even people who live a wicked life can do good for someone. Think of how much more God wants to do for us when we ask!

How does God care for us?

Luke 12:22-32 (KJV)
22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

So we have already established how much we mean to God, and how much more we mean to him than the sparrows he takes care of but how DOSE He take care of us?

In the first part Jesus tells us we are to take no care for our own life, he wants us to be fully dependent on him. And in a nut shell the christen life us throwing away our ambitions to live for others fully relying on God to take care of our needs for he cares for us. This is the example God sent his son Jesus Christ to show us.

We see 4 things God wants us to take no thought of, or in other words don't worry about.
He says what we eat or what cloths we put on we could even extend that to a roof over our head as we see God provided a store house and barn for the ravens. And later in verse 29 what we drink and with that being said.. what are the 4 most essential things to life? Food, water, shelter and clothing

So again we see how much God cares for us but this time he tells us he is going to provide for us

24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

And than again in 28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

for God to do something in our lives we  must have faith that he will provide for us, and we do that by casting all our care upon him and taking no thought for our lives as the scriptures have said.

Ok so great God wants to take care of us but whats the catch?  31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

God wants to take care of you forever more he wants to give you and I the Kingdom all we must do to have it is obey God at his commandments seek his kingdom knock and the Lord will open the door! All we really must do is call upon his name to be saved and his kingdom is ours.

I really hope this was an  encouragement to you, like it was for me.

Im praying for ya!
God Bless,
-Daniel

How to get to the top...

One of the biggest adventures you can have is getting to the top. If your at the bottom the only way to get to the top is one step at a time. With this being said, it can be applied to many things like mountain climbing, hiking, work or just life in general! Im going to help you with a biblical twist and im going to use Matthew 23:11,12 as my example it says....

11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

I would almost say this enplanes itself! what an awesome verse, leaders are meant to be servants and to be a leader, first you must be a servant. What dose this entitle you mite ask? It entitles allot of hard work and dedication, staying late (maybe off the clock), doing something that mite not be your job. its an eager heart and a willing spirit, you must be willing to be used and willing to be hurt. Your going to out there and give it your best shot! and your not going to get noticed for possibly years... just like one of the parable in the Bible. A father has two sons, one son stays and helps his father, while the other one leaves out of spite. years later after the son who ran away comes back the father greets him with a party, drink, food and presents. The son who has stayed back to help all this time asks why he never was treated that way, and gets jealous. But the father says, Son! don't fret you get ALL of my land, my property, all my possessions!!! you inherent all that I have!!! so don't worry in the end God sees all that you do and will reward you greatly. well friend its late and I must go, I'm praying for you!

God Bless

Matthew 23:11,12 (KJV)

11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Luke 15:11-32 (KJV)
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. 32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Why It took a year and a half to write a post.....

Wow its been quite a while.... its been a year and a half sense I have blogged last. And WOW what an adventure the lord had waiting for me. I sold my parents house, moved upstate to Gaylord, Michigan and am now attending Bible College! I gave in to what the Lord wanted for me,and its been the best thing that has ever happened. My thirst for knowledge is that of Solomon want for wisdom, and the Lord has blessed greatly! Hes taken me out of my comfort zone and placed me where I should have been all along and he has a great work for me to do there. I'm attending Grace Baptist College, I'm now a Sophomore taking Pastoral assistant with a concentration in Youth. I'm the assistant bus captain on the Central Lake, Belair, and Alba bus route. I just started as Bro.Tim Bish's assistant in 6th Grade Boys Sunday School and in the middle of my freshman year became Dormitory Supervisor. I work at the Hampton Inn and love every minute of it! The Lord really has been a blessing, and oh how worthy his is to be praised!!

Life lessons

So we all have one life to live, and with that life there are lessons you must go through. Some lessons are given, and told to you ahead of time for you to understand, the other 90% are hurdled at you with forces a tornado couldn't achieve. How to act, what to say, whats appropriate and not appropriate to say are a few of the normal ones, all horrible lessons to mess up (saying something stupid or doing something that upsets someone) but easy to learn from and not really harmful. Some lessons are have real brutal consequences but we are told about them like pregnancy, drugs, alcohol, debt and where your heart rests and to whom you trust and obey. I had 2 great opportunity to bring my friends closer to the Lord and did not know how, nor was I prepared, so it failed. But God's grace is amazing, he will forgive you for everything! lies, stealing, cheating, allowing things to have influence over your capacity to think for yourself, like drugs or alcohol. Even what I have done, not being a good witness. Did you know that whatever you think is a sin becomes one?

with friend's I wasn't a strong believer, I was still learning, and they needed someone with strong beliefs. They hardly ever saw me as a God fearing man standing up and proclaiming what sin is.

I would hope to encourage you to STAND UP! stand up! for Jesus and be an example for our Lord and Savior

God Bless.

James
(4:17) Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

My new adventure

Around every corner and bend adventure awaits. Every leap of faith, every breath taken, every heart changed not knowing when your last breath, leap or prayer could be. This could be in an everyday life or place as well as out in a foreign land, but im looking for something more. My heat is that of a man, molded and shaped and still in the works to look more like Gods. I want to be more like him day after day, knowing how much he cares for the sparrow and the crows. He looks after them knowing if they have fallen or without storehouse or barn, yet He feeds them, how much more he loves his children. I hope for this blog will help keep track of my adventure I have asked God to take me on and would hope to be a blessing to whomever falls upon it.

God Bless,
-Daniel
